Payments
Get paid
Connect your bank through Stripe and get paid for deposits, tickets, card cover and memberships.
Connecting your bank
Your venue has to be verified before Stripe onboarding can start.
- Open Settings › Payouts.
- Choose Connect with Stripe and complete Stripe's onboarding: business details, the person responsible, and a bank account.
- Back in Mosh the status shows Verifying while Stripe checks the details, then Connected.
Your venue gets its own Stripe account. The money is yours and sits in that account's balance; Mosh never holds it.
What lands in your balance
Booking deposits, ticket sales, card cover (Tap to Pay) and membership payments all go into your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on the schedule Stripe sets for your account. Revenue › Payouts lists each payout and what's in it, so a $1,840 payout breaks down into the Friday's card cover, Saturday's tickets and two booking deposits.
Where fees are shown
Card processing and any Mosh fees are shown on each transaction's receipt and in Revenue, so the amount that reaches your bank is explained line by line. Revenue & receipts →
What happens before you connect
Everything can be set up, but nothing can be charged. A guest who tries to pay a deposit or buy a ticket is told the venue isn't taking card payments yet and to contact you directly. Cash and comp cover work without Stripe.
Changing the bank account
Open Stripe from Settings › Payouts and update the bank account there. A payout that's already in progress goes to the account that was on file when it was sent.
