Door & tickets
Guest lists
Lists that fill themselves. Hosts add names from their phones and the door checks them in.
Who fills a guest list
Every event can have guest lists. Each list belongs to a host: a promoter, the birthday guest, the organizer of a private booking. The host gets a link by text and adds names and phone numbers from their phone. Nobody at the venue types a name, and there's no spreadsheet or DM thread to keep in sync.
Creating a list
- Open the event and go to Guest list.
- Add a list with a name (Maya's birthday), the host's phone number, and optionally a cap.
- The host gets a text with their link. As they add names the list updates live in your dashboard.
Everyone on a list gets a text before doors with the event details and their entry code.
Running several lists on one night
A Friday might have the promoter's list, two birthday lists and the private booking's list. The scanner searches across all of them at once, and the ledger records which list each admit came from, so you can see the promoter brought 48 people and the birthday brought 15.
Lists for private bookings
A confirmed private booking gets its own guest list automatically. The booking's contact is the host, and they fill it from their booking page. Take private bookings →
How the door uses a list
A guest on a list shows the entry code from their text, or the door searches their name. Once checked in they're marked, so the same name can't be used twice. Check in guests and take cover →
Capping or closing a list
Set a cap to stop a list at a number of names (a birthday list of 20). Close a list to stop the host adding more without removing anyone already on it.
