Text reminders
What Mosh texts guests and when. They go out automatically based on what the guest did.
Mosh talks to guests by SMS. You don't write or send these; each one is triggered by something the guest did.
| When | Who gets it | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| They RSVP, buy a ticket or are added to a list | The guest | Confirmation with the event details and their entry code |
| The afternoon of the event | Everyone coming | Reminder with the entry code and the address |
| They book a package | The booking contact | Confirmation, the booking page link, the deposit receipt |
| You approve, quote or decline their request | The booking contact | The decision and what to do next |
| They join a membership, renew, or a charge fails | The member | Confirmation, the receipt, or a prompt to update their card |
| You publish the gallery | Everyone who was checked in | The gallery link |
| They claim a promotion | The guest | Confirmation and the terms |
How guests consent to texts
A guest gives their phone number to RSVP, buy, join or book, and is told at that point that Mosh will text them about it. Every message includes a way to stop. Mosh's messaging is registered with the carriers under Mosh, so there's nothing for the venue to register.
Sending your own texts
Mosh doesn't yet send free-form blasts from the venue. A guest-list host can message their own list from their link; for everyone else, use your usual channels with the event page link, which carries RSVP and tickets.
