Promotions

Fill the room early,
on perks you already have.

RSVP and attendance-based promotions: free entry before 11 for the first 100 RSVPs, $5 off for the first 50 through the door. Guests claim them on the event page and the scanner honors them at the door, so nobody on the line is checking a watch, a list or a count.

Why it pays

An hour of bar revenue you weren't getting.

10:30

The room fills an hour early

An early-arrival offer moves the crowd forward by an hour. That hour is bar revenue you weren't getting, and a full room when the next group walks past the window.

100

RSVPs you can plan around

An offer claimed by RSVP gives guests a reason to commit before the night. The count on the event page becomes a real signal, and the afternoon reminder goes to people who said yes.

$5 off

The perk costs what you decide

Free cover, $5 off, a well drink, skip the line: things you comp anyway, now capped at a number and a time instead of handed out at the door's discretion.

How it works

You set it. Guests claim it. The scanner enforces it.

  1. 1You

Set the trigger, the benefit, the cap and the window

On the event, add a promotion: claimed by RSVP or by arriving; worth free entry, a discount or a perk you name; capped at 100; redeemable until 11 pm. Choose whether guests see how many are left.

    Cap 100 · redeem until 11:00 PM
  2. 2Guest

Claim it on the event page

The offer sits next to RSVP and tickets. A guest claims it and gets a confirmation text with the terms.

Scan. The price is already right.

The scan shows Claimed: free before 11. At 10:50 the cover screen says $0; at 11:10 it says $10. Redemptions count against the cap as they happen, so the 101st guest can't claim what the first 100 already used.

    Count it

Every redemption is an admit with the promotion as the reason. Sixty free entries before 11 show up as 60 admits at $0, not 60 missing covers.

One night, worked through

A $10 Friday with free entry before 11.

A Friday with a $10 cover and a slow first hour.

The 74 who came early were in the room for the hour the bar is usually empty. The 26 who claimed and arrived after 11 paid full cover, because the scanner, not the door, applied the window.

The rules

What a promotion can and can't do.

  • Triggers

RSVP (the guest commits on the event page) or check-in (the guest arrives, usually before a time or among the first N through the door).

  • Benefits

Free entry, a percentage or dollar amount off cover, or a custom perk you name, like one well drink.

  • Caps and windows

A cap on claims, a claim window and a redeem window. Hit the cap and the promotion reads Exhausted; close the window with claims left and it reads Expired.

  • Scarcity

A threshold switches the remaining count on only when it's low, so 12 left appears on the event page and 97 left doesn't.

  • Pause and void

Pause a live promotion at any time; void one to cancel it outright. Statuses: Draft, Scheduled, Live, Exhausted, Expired, Ended.

  • With memberships

Member perks and promotions both resolve at the scan. The door sees one price.
